The real rock age granite of the monument is composed of high quartz and feldspar, which makes it more durable than many other varieties of granite. The quarries we use in the United States, Canada and Africa are strictly selected because of their durability and rich colors. Indeed, there are many other granites that can be used as souvenirs; However, the quality of these granites does not meet the standards of  monuments and rock age.
