The five tombs in England are Chen Shoufu, Gu Shizhong, Chen Chengkui, Lian Jinyuan and Yuan Peifu. They went to Britain because the Qing government bought several warships from Britain at a high price, so the government sent these five people to Britain to bring the warships back. But after they arrived in Britain, it is unknown what caused all five of them to die in Britain. Finally, the Qing Government bought five tombs for them in Britain and buried them there.  

Until the fall of the Qing Dynasty, no one cared about their graves until 2016, when an overseas student found Chinese characters on the tombstone and the tombstone faced east, so he contacted the local embassy. It was later discovered that the five men were Chinese and that the graves were the property of our country, so the five graves were repaired.
