To deal with the planning and design of the public mausoleum gravestone park with the concept of landscape, not only contributes to the conservation of the geomorphic environment, but also shows the rich cultural landscape and its relationship to people and land in the architectural space, forming a unique landscape aesthetics.

Every stage of life has its houses (buildings) filled with memories, but dwelling places outside the story of life have always been devoid of public discourse, often conforming to certain religious practices and rarely evolving with The Times.  Passive treatment of the obscure issue of gravestone cemeteries, or unimaginative price-cutting competition, has allowed a small number of private cemeteries to meet the needs of better-off people with high prices through exquisite quality and marketing. This practice, though relatively orderly, has also fostered social class differences.

The gravestone project is a cemetery in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and by far the largest cemetery in the Netherlands, covering 33 hectares and containing more than 28,000 graves.  It was built in three phases, in 1889,1915 and 1928.  It has a history of about 117 years and has undergone many changes during that time.  In 2001, it was updated again for new changes.

Cemeteries gravestone are a mirror of society, reflecting social relations, individual and collective relations, as well as insights into nature and developments in the field of landscape design.  Therefore, the design of the cemetery does not consider the cemetery itself in isolation, but rather links the spatial intervention with the human emotion of grief, burial process, and remembrance.
