I remember that it was a very round and bright night, I and my village grandpa went out for a walk. My grandfather is about fifty years old, and he is called grandpa according to the village's generation. He has been blind since childhood and lives on fortune-telling. Every evening after dinner, I like to take him out for a walk.
It was too late to go out that night. I walked with him on the way back to the village. There was a cemetery not far from the village, just on the way back to the village, so you had to go through it. The Cemetery Gravestones was treeless and bare, and the only visible objects were mounds of graves and tombstones. The moon was bright enough to see the graveyard in full view, so there was nothing to be afraid of. We walked and talked carelessly.
The Cemetery Gravestones was square in scale and abut the village road. As I approached the graveyard, I took a peep at it, and suddenly felt strange, though I could not say how strange. I didn't think much of it, but after walking for a while, as I was about the center of the graveyard, I finally understood what the strange place was. It was the tombstones in the graveyard, all lined up in my direction.
In our area, gravestones face southwest, some northeast, and almost none. But that night, all the tombstones, all brush toward me. I quickly turned my head to look in other directions, afraid to look. Her body trembled slightly and her palms were sweaty.
Although my grandfather is blind, but the sense is very keen, MY hand took his hand, he felt my hand suddenly cool a lot, still slightly trembling, what did not ask, loudly recited the "Yuan Hai Ziping" inside the formula (pure fortune-telling, no other role). The voice was full of energy and deafening. Feeling better, I grabbed him and hurried on.
When we were past the Cemetery Gravestones, I asked Grandpa, why did you suddenly memorize the formula? Grandpa said just through my hand feel I was a little afraid, what did not think, recited up. I said I saw the gravestone facing me, and it scared the hell out of me. My grandfather asked. Look again now. I checked. The headstone's all right. Southwest.
Grandpa said you may be blind, I nodded, said it may be, and then went home with him. The next day, I went back to the graveyard on purpose and looked at the gravestones. I was a little conceited about the supernatural, and I didn't want to believe that I could mess with anything. If I didn't think things through, this graveyard would be my demons for a long time.
I took care to walk the way I had walked the night before, looking at the gravestones, but everything seemed normal. But I was a little uncomfortable. If I was blindsided last night, why did I get that weird feeling approaching the cemetery in the first place? What if it was a smoke screen? Was it those deafening chants that broke the law?
In the evening, I began to behave foolishly. I found my grandfather and took him to the grave. I asked him to wait, and I stood in the same central position as last night, examining the tombstone, but all was well.
